JHH - Johns Hopkins Hospital

The Johns Hopkins Hospital predicted equations are derived from a combination of several sources of data in the literature. ³²Àº°ø±â·® (VC, SVC, ¹× FVC) are computed from the equations of Goldman and Becklake:

VC = 0.1626*Ű(inches) - 0.031*¿¬·É(³â) - 5.335 [³²¼º]
VC = 0.1321*Ű(inches) - 0.018*¿¬·É(³â) - 4.360 [¿©¼º]

Âü°í: 1 inch= 2.54 cm

Equations for ³²Àº°ø±â·® (¶Ç´Â Àܱⷮ) are also taken from Goldman and Becklake:

RV = 0.0687*Ű(inches) + 0.017*¿¬·É(³â) - 3.447 [³²¼º]
RV = 0.0813*Ű(inches) + 0.009*¿¬·É(³â) - 3.900 [¿©¼º]

¿ÂÇãÆÄ¿ë·® (TLC, ¶Ç´Â ÀüÆó¿ë·®) is found by adding predicted values for RV and VC.

Equations for ±â´ÉÀܱâ¿ë·® (FRC) are derived from data reported by Bates, which were in turn derived from the data of Goldman:

Equations for FEV1/FVC are derived from the data of Miller, Kory, Gaensler, Tiffeneau, and Pemberton & Flanagan:
